Aerial devices—bucket trucks and vehicle-mounted boom lifts—give safe access to utility lines and other elevated work when used under the right procedures. This course focuses on vehicle-mounted elevating and rotating aerial devices (ANSI A92.2) and aligns with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.67 (general industry) and 1926.453 (construction). Scissor lifts are not covered here. Employers must also provide equipment-specific familiarization and hands-on/practical evaluation.
