Buying OSHA books for a crew or class starts with three choices: the right reference, the right format and the right quantity. Use this checklist to compare full regulation books, pocket guides and student materials before you order.
For a few copies, select the language, format and quantity on the product page and order online. For a larger order or a mixed materials list, request bulk pricing with the details below.
1. Match the book to the work or course
Start with your instructor’s materials list or the reference your team needs:
- Full regulation books: compare the OSHA 1926 construction book and OSHA 1910 general industry book. Choose around the work being covered, rather than assuming one volume covers every workplace.
- Pocket guides: compact references for quick lookups. Check the contents for the coverage you need.
- Student booklets and handouts: materials for a particular lesson or training topic. Match the instructor’s requested title.
A class may need a full reference for the instructor and separate booklets for learners. Browse OSHA books and publications to compare those options.
2. Choose a practical format
The National Safety Compliance 1910 and 1926 books sold here offer three formats:
- Paperback (Perfect Bound): a conventional printed book for reading, highlighting and keeping nearby.
- Binder (Premium Bound): a loose-leaf, three-ring format for readers who prefer tabs and notes alongside the reference pages.
- USB (shipped): a searchable reference file on a physical USB. Check that the recipient’s computer permits USB media; this is not an instant download.
You can split an order by format. For a closer comparison, use our 1926 book buying guide or 1910 book buying guide.
3. Record the edition, language and quantity
Match the publication and edition to your course or purchasing list. The 1910 listing offers English; the 1926 listing offers English and Spanish. Keep different languages and formats on separate order lines.
For individually sold books, quantity means copies. For student-material packs, quantity means packs. For example, Focus Four construction booklets contain 10 booklets per pack in the selected language:
- 20 learners need 2 packs.
- 24 learners need 3 packs, leaving 6 spare booklets.
- 18 English-language learners and 6 Spanish-language learners need 2 English packs and 1 Spanish pack.
Divide the booklets needed by the pack size and round up. Calculate each language separately, including any instructor copies or spares you want.
4. Prepare a useful bulk-pricing request
Send these details so we can identify the materials and review your order:
- Product links and the required edition; SKU or ISBN if specified.
- Language, format and number of copies or packs for each item.
- Delivery location and the date you need the materials.
- Any purchasing requirements, such as a written quote or purchase-order process.
Example: “Please quote 12 English paperback copies of the OSHA 1926 construction book and 3 English packs of Focus Four booklets—30 booklets total. Please include availability, shipping cost and expected arrival at [destination] by [date].”
5. Check the order before your class or project
Review the confirmation for the correct titles, languages, formats and quantities, plus the total delivered cost and expected timing. Read the returns policy before ordering. When the materials arrive, check them against your list and retain the order details for reorders.
