Description

Asbestos was used widely in buildings because it’s strong, heat-resistant, and durable—but airborne fibers can cause serious illness. This awareness-level course helps employees recognize materials that may contain asbestos (ACM/PACM), avoid disturbance, and follow reporting and control procedures. It aligns with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1001 (General Industry) and 1926.1101 (Construction).
Note: This is awareness training—not abatement/worker accreditation. Employers must add site-specific procedures, medical surveillance (where applicable), and any required hands-on instruction.
